Extract a portion of a field value  |
| Some times we want to populate a field in Marketo form a part of another field in Marketo. |
For example, we want to grab the domain name from each email address and populate it in another field. For example, for a customer who was having issues with email deliverability, we wanted to analyze all the domains that are affected. We can do that in Excel but much easier if we have that information auto-populated in Marketo. Similarly, this can help out for area codes from phone number and so on. |
