One way fellow Marketo users do this is by 'sync the lead with SFDC, and then treat that SFDC lead id as the unique promo code.But that is not scalable across multiple campaigns as SFDC id remains the same for a lead.It would be nice if we can have a promo code field that related to a specific program in Marketo, that would automatically generate a new code for each member of the program. That would allow us to have the same lead in many different programs, each having their own promo code. It would need to be a field that could be inserted into an email as a token, and it would need to create a unique code every time so that there is no way the same code could exist twice. |
